Council of Advanced Placement Schools in Ontario

CAPSON, the Council of AP Schools in Ontario, founded in 2002, is an associationof AP schools in Ontario and Quebec that allows members to share concerns and strategies to implement and expand the AP program in their schools.

CAPSON schools advocate as a group to the Universities and the Ministry of Education. It is thanks to CAPSON initiatives that ALL Ontario universities now grant AP credits and that students can now indicate their AP status on the OUAC application form. We will continue to press for expanded acceptance of AP courses.
